American Psycho Return

Playwright Roberto Aguirre Saccasa Composer Duncan Sheik Lyricist Duncan Sheik Source Author Brett Easton Ellis Producer Ray of Light Theatre  [Website] Description Based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, American Psycho tells the story of Patrick Bateman, a young and handsome Wall Street banker with impeccable taste and unquenchable desires. Through an electric score we see Patrick and his elite group of friends spend their days in chic restaurants, exclusive clubs and designer labels. But at night, Patrick takes part in a darker indulgence, and his mask of sanity is starting to slip. This satire paints a pointed picture of the consumerism and misogynistic attitudes of the 80’s corporate world, a theme still relevant more than 30 years later.
